Who owns Candy AI?

Candy AI’s privacy notice names EverAI Limited as the data controller. It lists a Malta business address and registration number C107181. That does not guarantee a perfect service, but it is stronger evidence of legitimacy than a polished homepage or an SSL padlock alone.

Candy is intended only for adults aged 18 or older—or the higher age of majority where the user lives. Its legal documents also prohibit content resembling minors and provide a removal process for AI content that unintentionally resembles a real person.

What Candy AI collects and who may see chats

The current privacy notice covers more than your email address. Depending on how you sign up and use the platform, data can include an email, encrypted password, screen name, gender, a name supplied through a login provider, age-verification results, device or usage information, payment records, and the content you exchange with an AI companion.

Most importantly, Candy defines “Content” to include your conversation inputs and the AI’s outputs. Its notice says it may use service providers for hosting, payments, moderation and AI functionality. It specifically warns that third-party LLM providers or hosters may receive the content of chatbot messages.

How long can Candy AI keep your data?

Candy’s May 2026 privacy notice says account-related personal data is generally retained for up to three years after the last account activity. It says this may be shortened for operational reasons, and that account data should be deleted without undue delay when you make a valid deletion request.

Not every record disappears with the account. The notice says financial and transactional data can be kept for ten years for tax and accounting obligations. Marketing data can remain until consent is withdrawn or for up to two years after the last platform interaction. Records tied to legal obligations or disputes may be kept longer where required.

Can Candy staff or systems review conversations?

Potentially, yes. Candy’s community guidelines say conversations, requests or outputs flagged by users or trust-and-safety controls may be reviewed. They also state that communications may be monitored for quality assurance and refinement of the service.

That is normal for many hosted AI services, but it is a reason not to enter your real address, workplace, passwords, financial details, medical records, intimate photos of real people or information that could identify someone else.

Is Candy AI billing safe and discreet?

Candy publicly advertises discreet billing and says adult wording or the Candy brand will not appear on a bank statement. Its legal terms do not promise one universal descriptor, so check the live checkout screen and emailed receipt before paying if discretion is essential.

How to cancel or delete your Candy AI data

To stop subscription renewal

1. Open My Profile and then Settings.
2. Select Unsubscribe.
3. Confirm the subscription end date.
4. Save a screenshot or confirmation email until the next billing date passes.

Deleting chats or closing an account should not be treated as a substitute for cancelling renewal. Stop the subscription first.

To request personal-data deletion

Contact Candy’s privacy team at support@candymail.ai and clearly request erasure of your account-related personal data. The privacy notice says legitimate requests are generally answered within one month, although complex requests can take longer. Some transaction or legal records may still be retained.

1. Use an email address that is not tied to work, banking or your public identity.
2. Create a unique password and never reuse it on another site.
3. Do not share real names, addresses, phone numbers, employer details, passwords or financial information in chat.
4. Never upload or describe identifiable intimate content involving a real person without clear consent.
5. Read the final checkout total, renewal cadence, token allowance and refund limits before paying.
6. Cancel through Settings before the renewal date and keep proof.
7. Delete chats and request account-data erasure when you are finished.

Our verdict: is Candy AI safe?

Candy AI is a legitimate adult AI companion platform, but it is not a zero-risk private space. The operator and subscription rules are identifiable, cancellation is available in settings, and the company publishes data rights. The main trade-off is that intimate conversations are processed by a hosted service, may pass through third-party AI or moderation providers, and can be retained under the policy’s timelines.

For low-risk entertainment, the service may be acceptable if you avoid personal details and manage the subscription carefully. If you need professional confidentiality, anonymity from the platform itself, or a place to store deeply sensitive information, Candy AI is the wrong category of product.
